Hope For Spring

Couple weeks ago me and couple other friends (Monique and Kia) decided to gather and make use of our gathering for styling since one of my friend is trying to promote her bargain fashion business TheBargainDistrict, she asked me if I can assist her in styling and photography. It is always fun when you do things like this with you friends. Kind of remind me of playing Barbie when I was a kid at a friend's house since I don't want to get caught playing Barbie by my mom. Ha !

Anyhow here some styling and photos that we did. We also had a lovely high tea after to warm us up, since the day that we did this was so cold, but we were hopeful that Spring will come soon.

 

Most of the clothes are vintage except for my H&M leather pants, Calvin Klein belt, Kenneth Cole camo watch. On Monique's, the dresses are vintage, black boots by Ferragamo and vintage green wedge by Manolo Blahnik also vintage Givenchy clutch. All that Kia wear was vintage.

I captured these pictures when I was on a ferry ride to Staten Island. It was late afternoon and I think it was perfect moment to capture Lady Liberty as my model on the ocean.

Marc Jacobs is an agent provocateur when he delivers Louis Vuitton collection this time. It's all about haute comfort wear that is very seductive and provocative. He did that with his collection as well. To me this collection should tell you that when one door closes another will be opened, all you need to do is to stay haute and fabulousity will be on your way! Schweetz !

Marc Jacobs is limitlessss !! Yes, in terms of exploring arts. He has his own fashion label, he's the creative director of one of the luxurious brand, Louis Vuitton and now he's stretching out to movie. A movie called Disconnect, directed by Henry Alex Rubin. The movie is about how internet connects and affecting people's lives and relationships. Quiet a role Marc !!!
